1.1 The Rosemount / Emerson HART 475 Field Communicator is the new standard, is also the new generationcommunicator building on the 20 years application experience of the HART 275 Field Communicator and HART 375 Field Communicator as well as user’ further need;
1.2 Following the successful application of Rosemount 375HART communicator,Emerson process management develop new Rosemount 475 onsite communicator. It not only support the HART protocol but also for onsite bus communication protocol. It’s with features of commen use,reliable,portable and easy to update,which make it to be the new standard promptly.
1.3Currently,there are more than 200 equipment providers with capacity to provide more than 600 HART andFF onsite bus communication protocol. Rosemount 475 Field communicator support the PlantWeb factory control technology of Emerson,and combined with 17 yeas onsite experience of configurating and maintainingon the instrument and valve for HART users. The strong branching diagnostic function of the onsite bus of Rosemount 475 communicator is obtained upon the comprehensive experience of thousands of onsite bus equipment all over the world.

User could update in-place:The users can download new version content of HART and FOUNDATION fieldbus to update the Rosemount 475 locally.
Safety:The Rousemount 475 Field communicator is the only one which could meet all safety requirement,including ATEX-compliant，CENELEC,FM,CSA and FISCO.
Firm and reliable: That’s the reason why call it as a ‘communicator’. Since some jobs have to be done on the equipment,the Rosemount 475 is designed special for the difficult condition of the factory.
Connect with AMS interface:The Rosemount 475 Field communicator could connect the interface of AMS equipment management software,carry out the configuration data transmissions of HART instrument and valve,between equipment management software and the communicator.

(1)Base Model 475 includes Field Communicator unit with Color LCD display, System Card, leadsetwith connectors, carrying case, Getting Started Guide, Resource CD, stylus, and straps.

(4)This option should only be considered if the user already has a 375 or 475 Power Supply/Charger.If it is a 375 Power Supply / Charger,it must be the Li-Ion/NiMH version.
(5)The Easy Upgrade capability allows users to add new System Application software and Device Descriptions (DDs) to the 475 for a period of 3 years.To upgrade without this feature, the System Card would have to be sent to a Service Center.
(6)The Graphics functionality enables a user to access enhanced grapical features when using the HART or FOUNDATION fieldbus application.
(7)Device Configuration Management provides the capablity to store in excess of 1,000 configurations and print them.
(8)Bluetooth enables communication to a PC via the Bluetooth protocol. Bluetooth is only available in certain countries.
(9)A fully charged Lithium-Ion Power Module is capable of delivering power for 20 hours of typical field use. If requirements exceed this specification,a Spare Power Module (code A) should be specified.
